School resumes for students on Tuesday 14th
October. I hope you all have enjoyed the break and have made the most of your
holidays. Term 4 will be super busy as we have Dance (please hand in your
permission slips and money by Wednesday 15th October), Swimming,
Camp, our Assembly Item (Friday 17th October), a new Science unit on
Physical and Chemical change, a novel study, the DRLC Portfolio presentations,
Graduation and much, much more. It will be a blast.
SCHOOL REVIEW
Furthermore, I am proud to announce that
Wattle Grove Primary has been shortlisted as one of four finalists for the 2014
School of the Year. It is a wonderful honour and we share it with three other
schools. Thank you to parents and students who have helped Wattle Grove Primary
achieve this commendation. We have quite a busy start to the year as both
School Review and Education Award members will be visiting our school.
